What is Plant Development?

A living plant is more likely to have embryonic tissue. Conversely, an animal’s fetus will quickly produce all the parts of its body that it can carry in its lifetime. When an animal is born (or hatched in its egg), it has all of its body parts and from that point, it will grow bigger and more mature.

That is why they are known as producers or Autotrophs. Examples of autotrophs in the world are trees, vines, or shrubs. Autotrophs can also be found in the upper layers of the ocean, called algae. One of the many services provided by autotrophs is to prevent erosion.
